To do so, we have developed a new open-source software library called CGL (for \"Comparative Genomics Library\"). Our results demonstrate that change in intron-exon structure is gradual, clock-like, and largely independent of coding-sequence evolution. To do so, we have developed a new open-source software library called CGL (for “Comparative Genomics Library”). Our results demonstrate that change in intron–exon structure is gradual, clock-like, and largely independent of coding-sequence evolution.
